I’m retiring. I don’t play anymore, I’m tired. Over the last three or four years, I’ve realized that this world belongs less and less to me.
Kids today think they’re Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo; they want the big car and boots with their name on them. I don’t know what I would give to go back to the age when all you thought about was carrying the ball and going out to play with your friends. That was the only thing on my mind: becoming a footballer.
